The redesign of pocketpowerhouse.com is underway! First built as an experiment in Drupal by it's founder, he soon realized that he could better his time focusing on what mattered most to him and to leave the creation of his site to someone who specializes in doing so. It's all about efficiency in this day and age, focus on what you're good at and the parts that you are not, give to someone who specializes in that area.

Pocket Powerhouse is a site that is based on the subject of converging mobile devices. Converge the data about these devices, how to fix them, provide the part and tools necessary to fix or modify them, and also provide the service to do so for you as well! You can come to this site to learn how to downgrade and modify your PSP, fix the screen on your Blackberry, or hack into your iPhone. For those who would rather leave it to the specialists, you can also have the Pocket Powerhouse team do it for you!

This site requires e-commerce features which will be provided by Ubercart and built completely on the Drupal web application framework. A structured taxonomy system brings together the guides, tutorials, products and services in a relational way to make them easy to find no matter what section of the site you happen to be interested in. Just need a faceplate? Find the plate in products and have links to a guide on how to install it yourself close by. Or maybe you'd rather order the part and have the Pocket Powerhouse team install it for you. In any case, the guides and tutorials are written by the staff, so you know exactly what it is they're doing to get the job done.
